- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (320 g)

- 3/4 cup vegetable oil (180 ml)

- 3/4 cup hot coffee (180 ml)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Fudge Filling - 10.5 oz dark chocolate, chopped (300 g)
- 1 cup heavy cream (250 ml)
- 3 tbsp butter (40 g)
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (100 g)
Chocolate Buttercream - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (250 g)
- 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar (450 g)
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp cocoa powder (60 g)
- 5 oz dark chocolate, melted (150 g)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract Chocolate Brownie Topping
- 1 batch of your favorite fudgy brownies, cut into cubes
How to Make It
- First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line three 6-inch cake pans with parchment paper so your layers pop out perfectly.
- In a large mixing bowl, gently whisk together your flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and granulated sugar.
- Make a little well in the center and add your eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix everything just until it's nice and smooth.
- Now, carefully and slowly pour in the hot coffee, stirring the whole time. The coffee really deepens that warm chocolate flavor! Divide this beautiful batter evenly among your prepared pans.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let the cakes cool completely before you try to frost them.
- While those cool, let's make the rich fudge filling. Heat your heavy cream until it's steaming, then pour it right over your chopped dark chocolate. Stir in the butter and condensed milk until it is perfectly creamy and smooth. Pop it in the fridge to chill until it's thick enough to spread easily.
- For the buttercream, beat your softened butter until it's very creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, vanilla, and heavy cream. Beat it all together for about 4 to 5 minutes until it's light, fluffy, and completely irresistible.
- Time to build our Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake! Place your first cake layer down, spread a generous amount of that thick fudge filling, and add a very thin layer of buttercream. Repeat with the next layer.
- Frost the entire outside of the cake with your fluffy chocolate buttercream. I like to use an offset spatula to create beautiful, rustic swirls.
- Finally, pile those soft, gooey brownie cubes right on top of the cake. Chill your masterpiece for about 2 hours so it sets up wonderfully.
I just know this Chocolate Brownie Fudge Cake is going to bring so much comfort and joy to your kitchen tabl
